Re: My motorcycle mods so far
It looks very much like the 2 welds on your pipe is where the catalytic converter is placed. My exhaust is different to yours but I took mine apart and inside the down pipe there is another pipe...

Re: My motorcycle mods so far
Thanks and yes I do still ride it. I don't think I mentioned a crankshaft but I did buy a performance camshaft which has been sitting in my "bike stuff" draw for about 9 months as I am too lazy to...

Re: My motorcycle mods so far
If you really want an oil cooler you can do a custom job if you are good at diy (which is the cheaper option) or buy the complete kit from Taobao, the kit from China would be heavy and international...

Re: My motorcycle mods so far
Cheers, I'm glad my posts could be of some help. I also found the Haynes manual to be of great help (I learned most of the stuff I know from it), even though it doesn't cover any specific model of...

Re: My motorcycle mods so far
I don't think that would be good enough as during heavy rain water will be getting to the air filter at all angles, you need a cover that goes completly around, I don't think you will be able to see...

I did consider that air filter but I thought the cover would be too restrictive so I just got a standard cone filter and put half a coke bottle around it to keep the rain off and... -

Re: My motorcycle mods so far

Re: My motorcycle mods so far
A bigger pipe shouldn't have caused it however if there was any crap inside the pipe it could have caused a blockage or restriction somewhere. When I replaced my fuel pipe I think I got something...
