Just an update here guys that this issue had been fixed!
Dropped it into a garage as I'd exhausted all ideas I had, mechanic said its usually a small chubby plastic "Cap" that goes in the hole...

So I went out and bought a 5mmx20mm flat screw today and waddya know guys it doesnt fit! not even close!

When I put a screw driver into hole its like 50mm deep and definitely wider than 5mm!!!

ok so after some damage was taken to my Sinnis Apache 2015, I need to replace a single screw;

The screw lives on the handlebars, right hand side where the plastic square shaped mount is situated...
