Yeah, I plan to travel during the second fortnight of September and have a bit of time during the Golden Week to visit my parents and see some dudes etc.

Ok, the solution that may work better indeed is to send my motorcycle to Xining, to fly there, go around the lake and ride back to BJ (or either way, to ride from BJ to Xining and send the bike back...
