Got the DF250RTG all put together and ready to go. Seems to have good performance but I am doing the recommended break in so will be a while before I ride her hard.

Looks like the DF250RTB is NOT back. With the 229 CC engine....

My long gone 2012 DF250RTB had the 167FMM engine 229cc pushrod engine.
I believe the newer DF250RTB had the 165FMM 223cc overhead cam engine.

The DF250RTG had the 165FMM engine 223cc overhead...

I went out and took the nut off the front axle and on the threads it measures a little bit less the 15mm so I would say it is a 15mm shaft. Definitely not a 12mm shaft.

I bet your engine is a 167FMM and stamped 165FMM for some reason like EPA approval?
Here it states that the engine is 229.2 ccs which is the167fmm displacement.
