Essentially the CBT, Compulsory Basic Training, allows you to ride a small bike on L plates for 2 years. Then you either have to redo the CBT for another 2 years or take your full test. Yoy only get...

Yeah the L plates aren't great. I'm not even a 'new' biker, I just haven't done my full test. I've been riding on and off for years on a CBT and just renewing that any time it expired
