    First: do not EVER assume the markings on the swing-arm above or below the chain adjuster blocks are accurate. Mostly, they are not so if you set the adjusters to say the fourth mark on each side,...

    Yes, you are correct. BMW does not build motorcycles of the same quality as it did up to the 1990s.
