    I went in August this route and landslides are regular. Depending on how servers, the round is closed for hours,...

    Put the Bike in he Train and fly into KMG. Train station is rather downtown and is familiar with this. Have done so myself.

    Just check for the term "slaboed" in the Forum and you learn the consequences of beeing with the wrong plates in the wrong area - doesnt matter if Kunming, or Shanghai.

    Go to the city's notarization office and make a notarized declaration about your both names, combine them with the passport number. Should do the trick. Work permit was never accepted in Kunming.

    better check that - I was sitting once on it and it felt much heavier - more like 150-170kg.
    My Shineray was also advertised as around 120kg - once weighted it and it was more like 150kg! Never...

    Isn't it a bit insane, that the cheapest Chinese Cars (4 wheels, car engine) cost around the same?

    Some of the breadvan's from Wuling/Changan start at that price level - new, 4 wheels, 800cc...
