Hi Phil....
It only happens when on the move............compress the suspension......nothing.
Rock the bike back and forwards on the brakes.........nothing.
Just a occasional click over bad road... -

Hi Phil
I replaced headstock bearings with taper bearings.....new wheel bearings too.....a friend (who is more knowledgeable about bikes than me) stripped the fork legs down....minimal wear on... -

Hi guys & Phil
Yes I am still running the Tr...............I still have a clicking (occasionally) sound from the fork area........cannot find what is causing the sound.
So I just live with it. -

Well. With just 4600 miles on the clock........and the Tr will be off to the scrap yard......when I get one to collect it.
Rang about a new leg today...... £250+P&P+new set of fork oil seals it... -

I thought the Tr & the I shared the same suspension.
So why is the fork leg for a Tr £50 more than for the I.......mmmmmm -

Good evening...............yes it is definitely the fork leg that's bu**erred.
Push down vertically (leg off the bike) and it clunks like a sod.
The oil is very dark with a silver ish tinge to it.... -

KAYABA can supply all the parts to refurbish the forks.

Good evening......I stripped the front of the bike today......dropped out both fork legs......push down on the right one.......nothing.
Repeated the same on the left leg.......Clunk.......not going... -

Hi Prince.
On Quadzilla parts page they are £200 each!.
The bike was registered for the road in January 2015......it's a 2013 model....so its been on the road 3 years & 2 months.

The springs seem ok........within factory tolerances. ....length wise..
I assume its something to do with the bushings.
If I bought a Kawasaki part And it did not fit. ...I doubt they would take it... -

I push the bike up to a walk at a below walking pace..,nothing..not a peep.
Push down on the handlebars as hard as I can.....Clunk.
May have (possibly ) found the problem...........but.

Narrowed it down........it's not the head bearings...as I thought.
Something has worn or broke in the fork leg..
And you cannot buy parts, only complete legs from WK...... £200 -

2nd set............1st set in when it was new..........2nd set replaced under warranty..........I hope it can be cured, cos I don't fancy paying £72 for 2 caged roller bearings, when a taper roller...

Going to try something different at the weekend. .......strip everything off the forks, so I have just the bare forks hanging off the headstock.
See if I can feel any play.....try each leg... -

When the 1sr set failed at 1800 miles, the shop replaced them under warranty. ......as to what they replaced I do not know.

Hi Phil.........as said.......mine clunks over small bumps.....manhole covers......low pàvement edges......anything where the road is not perfectly flat :-(

Hi Prince.
When I spoke to WK they said it was not a common problem on the 650i or Tr, very rare in fact.
At this moment iam just trying anything to try to stop the clunk.

Been al over the bike today........no joy.
Looked on Wemoto site...they do a taper roller bearing kit for the 650i (£30) but the Tr is not listed.
Looked on the WK/Quadzilla site, and the bearings... -

Been over the bike......head bearings fine.....wheel bearings fine.....one caliper a bit loose on its sliding pins...abut it just clicks not clocks....going to ride the bike with it hanging on a...

Got to strip the bike again to get to the bearings...........when I can get it done..
Taking the bike to a friend with more mechanical knowledge, and better facilities than I have, for a 2nd...
