Went in for a look and oil sitting in tube up to second bolt head on left of the picture.
Looked at the "special" breather valve in the end... -

Looks like I stick to oil, belts, rollers etc and then lube up, touch my toes and put it in a shop for this.
I imagine this'll cost several hundred dollars and not come back any... -

FAIL FAIL FAIL
After spending an inordinate amount of time pulling panels I get a decent view of the bolt circled and there is about 5mm between it and the frame so F knows how they expect me to get... -

Nah, heat would be a bad idea due to being oil filled.
If I could do that I'd just cut the eye of and weld a clevis on.

Well, got those air shocks and very shiney and pretty they are.
The previous owner said they had 65mm of travel, a couple of mm more than the standards.
Reality was they only have 45mm.

Input needed please on upgrading rear shocks on CFMOTO Jetmax
At the moment my Jetmax 250 has standard shocks with a 5.5mm spring wire thickness which mostly seem fine albeit a bit firm on setting 3 , I have never bottomed out on this setting.

On my jetmax after hitting several large bumps I had a connector come loose which allowed start and me to go about 50ft until it died.

Bikerdoc, how did you "lock" the CVT so as to do the final torque of the nuts on the CVT?
According to my interpretation of the manual the front is 60~65N.m and rear is 70~75N.m

The part number from the CFMoto parts list is 01AD - 053000 NOT 01AO - 053000
the length according to the dealer here in Oz and bikerdoc is 903 x 22.6 NOT 916 x 22.3... -
