I like that bike too. I've heard good things about some 250cc v-twins. The Yamaha Star 250 is one. The Hyosung 250 is another.

Re: SSR in the US new models introduced

I had a hope, a few years back, that the Skyteam Ace would be available in the US. Gave up on that. Looks like it's never going to happen.
As for these, I like both versions of the Buccaneer. As...

I have seen a photo of that white dual sport, and it said one available in the US. I had to do a bit of searching, but here it is:

    Re: 250 hawk enduro performance

When you had the 17 tooth front on it, did you have to do some slipping of the clutch to get under way? Did it make 5th gear a bit unusable? Was it with the 17 that it topped out at 60? What speed...

    Re: 250 hawk enduro performance

Thinking about ordering a Hawk 250 (229). Have you had any issues with gas leaking from the gas cap? Looks like it comes with very aggresive dirt tires. How are these working out on the street? I...

    Re: Bashan BS200GY-18

Blueberry, does this bike have a replaceable oil filter, or just a cleanable screen? Is it under the small round engine cover on the front of the right side? I think it's a small cover with three...

And, I understand these bikes are not legal in California, so some sellers in that state have dropped them. That's what I was told by a dealer. Since I live in Hawaii, I was looking in to someone in...

    Re: Honda CT70 Clones.

There will be a screw with a locknut under a plug or cover on the engine. There are some good youtube videos on doing this adjustment. I've only owned one bike with an auto-clutch, and that was when...

    Re: Look out below......

That's pretty good longevity from a street tire! I get great mileage from tires also. Had a 2005 KLR650 and got just over 12,000 before I replaced it. The front got close to 15,000. Those were all...

NIce looking bike, there, Scott! I'd like to read about what you think of it when you ride it. Like how cramped is it for you and such. I'm about 5'9" or 5'10" and 195.

    Re: Bobber

Did you have to cut off some chain links to go with that sprocket? Does the stock chain have a master link, or is it an endless chain?

    Re: SSR Lazer 5 moped?

The Lazer 5 has a low range and high range gearing. There is a lever on the engine case to operate. You have to stop the bike to do it. I think the low range tops out at like 20 mph or so.
