I've worn out my first pinlock in that there's no seal anymore. It seems like it fits poorly and barely has any tension on it.

You can definitely buy "international" sim cards. What that means is it's really from one place and they guarantee the roaming rates.
It is typically cheaper to use a local sim when you change... -
