125cc Hand Built bikes vs China...

Like the title says, my friend and I are going on an epic adventure through 5 of China's provinces on two 125cc motorbikes that I designed and we built ourselves. It's not only going to be an...
  3. JH600, the ugliest bike in the world! Can it be made nice?

I have purchased a wrecked (well accident damaged) and abandoned in the rain for a year 2008 JH600.

Re: GPS Tracker from Taobao installed and tested

I'm still buying and installing this same GPS unit in all of the bikes I build at Churchill customs, admittedly it has its faults, but for a basic "let me check where my bike is" unit, it's great! It...
  5. Shineray are the most arrogant and useless of all the manufacturers we've dealt with

This is a bit of a rant, but I feel it's something I have to do in order to help anyone else planning to import Shineray motorcycles so that they can save some time by not dealing with this company....

    Re: TIC (This is China)

I have a real TIC story to tell you... I wanted to kill someone... luckily for him he wasn't there...

    Let me explain...

My CB400 has always had a crappy damaged (modified) engine cover, so I...

Right, so I'd arrived, had my breakfast and then headed over to wait for my mate Pete to come home from his morning gig...

She's a pretty little bike... I really enjoyed the way she...
  14. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

Okay... so the day before there was an annoying buzzing sound coming from the bike, couldn't pinpoint it but it was very noticable and very annoying, seemed to be coming from up front near the gauges...
  15. Re: need help bike runs in neutral and first perfect

I had a similar problem, it was the kickstand cut-off safety switch that was faulty, just bypass that shit by twisting the wires together and throwing that bloody switch away, also the clutch safety...
  16. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

Okay, so it's D-day... the Moriarty is to be ridden tomorrow morning (4:30am) to Zhuhai and to be delivered to its new owner!

I had some last minute work to do on it this morning before work.

  17. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

Thanks mate, I rode the bike up to Huizhou (100kms one way) and got stuck behind one of those damn cleaning water spraying trucks for about 3kms... I got mud all over the bike and me... so I decided...
  18. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

Re: CG125 from crap to class

I agree.. I actually wanted to cut a hole in the headlight and sink the speedo in there but the whole point of this bike was to have a simple "bolt on kit" ... oh well I guess I'll just have to do...
  22. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

I can't agree with you more! I'm really having trouble finding a better exhaust! It seems that I have a choice between either the stock megaphone jobbie, the one I have now or a stupid slip-on crayon...
  23. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

  24. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

Okay, got some morning pics of the bike so we can get a proper look! As it stands I'm very happy with the outcome! Other than mud guards (which I'm trying to sort out so they don't spoil the look),...
  25. Re: The Moriarty MKII, a new project bike for a friend

I really hoped to get more done today, but I had a subscriber over for a beer and I helped him fix up a bike he'll be taking on a trip, I did manage to get a few things done however:
