    Does it only do it when riding or can you hear it, bouncing it up and down, not going to comment on what it might be but it would be nice to hear it if we ever get to meet up again.

    Nice to here from you Tweet, still riding my TR, 11850 miles now, I have a clonk, if I go over a speed bump a bit to quick, not fast, just a bit quicker than normal which is pretty slow, I am sure...

    No does not bother me, it has been like it since about 1500 miles done 11500 now and still going.

    Mine clonks as well when going over speed humps or if I hit a pot hole, on ordinary smooth roads or when static it is fine, it is the head bearings no doubt about it.

    Best bet is to measure the bearings with a Micrometer or vernier and go to a bearing supplier for a set or take originals and have the matched up, that is what I did for Honda ones back in the 70's...
