I have a Shad 35 and just by luck the red matches perfectly. It comes with a mounting plate but the holes do not line up so I had to drill the 650TK plate using the Shad plate as a guide. Very easy....

most bikes will not start in gear if the side stand is down. Put side stand up clutch in and it will start in gear or if neutral light is off.

Added - I use a rear paddock stand to service the chain etc but I also have a front wheel stand which I ride into to lock the bike upright with no need to use the side stand at all.

I took your advice biker doc and used 35W Hid low beam and 55W high BUT I used the new fast switching ballasts which have a much higher startup current 8 amps each so I had to conect the high beam...

I have emailed 2 companies who make the risers for the ST1300 asking for bolt pattern specs but have not had a reply. The risers are expensive so I am not prepared to buy them and hope they may fit....

The side stand used on the CF650 is far too short making it heavy to stand up and at least some (if not all) have far too much slop in the joint. My bike slips 75mm due to the slop until it settles...
