Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information

I sold my green 2016 RTA a few months ago and really miss it. My wallet and wife said I did not need two bikes. Since then, I've had a V-Star 650 and now a VTX1300. I did tons of research on what...

Re: Dong Fang DF 250 RTB Bobber Information

I have the DF250RTA and the tank holds 2.11 gallons. I would estimate I could go maybe 80-90 miles at most without stopping for gas. If you search through the posts, I think some riders put on...

Just depends. Make sure you add/change your oil before riding and check to see that everything is tight. If you look through posts, a couple of long time riders have gone significant distances on...

I saw this bike on St. Louis Craigslist. Guy claims 450cc. Is that a "Frankenstein" Chinese engine? To me, the bottom end looks like a standard OHC Chinese 250. Any idea on the top end? 1996819969

Re: what this bike should have been from the start

I've not removed the rocker cover, but am thinking it might be possible that my engine is a 165 & 167 cobbled together? The 165fmm (CB250D-G) is listed as a camshaft upward but mine does not have...

Re: what this bike should have been from the start

My 2016 DF actually has the CB250 OHC 165FMM which "supposedly" makes more power (cam & higher compression) than the CG250 167fmm. I am surprised...with a 38T sprocket I've reached 64 mph (70 on...

Re: what this bike should have been from the start

These engines are usually available on Ebay, Alliexpress, or Alibaba etc... I believe the 350 is $1100 on ebay & is used in many ATVs. It can probably be purchased for less if going through Alibaba....

Re: what this bike should have been from the start

Hopefully, I will post some photos of my DF250RTA soon. My front disc arm flew off the frame on the fourth ride. No real damage, but I broke the brake line. Needless to say, I went through and...

It appears the ZS350 ZS183FMP is only 30mm wider and 20mm taller that the ZS250 167fmm.
