    Spot on from Waldo, do a TPS reset and problem should be solved.
    Out of sync. injection creeps slowly, not from one day to the other.

    They are notorious uncomfortable, will probably overheat in an instant, and any small scuff or tip-over will set you back big bucks for...

    Have them check the waterpump, and especially the impellor.
    Might have been made from plastic, and failed, stopping the coolant from being pumped around.
    Most of the time easy to check.

    If no electric starter, normally one each.
    The red as POS to all systems, the black as NEG connected with frame or engine mount.
    Sounds u traced the problem.
