06-18-2009, 07:17 PMDon't think so. According to this report it says:
"..The Iranian riot police are using motorcycles to quickly travel from one area to another"
On this photo it looks to be a Honda X something...
Jincheng Monkey JC50Q-7
Skyteam Dax replica ST110-6
Zongshen ZS125-43

06-19-2009, 04:37 AMone of the things really i like in China... politics don't exist. Really, politics is never a subject of discussion or worry in China. I mean that in a good way. There is a bad side for this, but there is no sense going there..

I remember seeing on Asiawing's old site that they sold a bunch of 250cc (Suzuki-engined) cruiser styled police bikes to Iran's (maybe Tehran's) police force a few years back. It looks like they prefer the Honda dirt bikes better?!

06-20-2009, 11:07 PMSince you first posted that pic of the motos in Iran I'm seeing them in all the coverage. Weird way to be using a dirt bike, but I guess it's no different from the horses cops use in Canada to intimidate crowds. Here's a pic from this morning's Globe and Mail:
Here's to hoping the people in Iran actually get some freedom after all is said and done.
