Hey all. I'm going to dive into this soon as part of my scheduled maintenance. I want to be sure that I will be using the correct valve clearances for my XF200.

    From this earlier post,
    http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ghlight=feeler
forchetto was using IN .10mm and EX .15mm. In the same post Carl got the word from Qingqi that it's supposed to be IN and EX .06mm to .08mm.

Now we have the official manual from this thread,
    http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/showthread.php?t=353

The manual shows the dimention to be IN .08mm (+/- .02mm) and EX .10mm (+/- .02mm). I understand that .06mm to .08mm falls within the tolerances of the manufacturer. Is it better to be on the high side of the tolerance when it comes to valve clearances?

Generally it's better to have the valves looser than too tight. .08 and .10 should be fine.

    Thumper / Honda clone?
According to Honda dealer in Japan http://www.ride-inc.net/file/32/data.pdf
    MD33 (65.5mm x 66.2 mm) IN/EX = 0.1mm
