Hey, all! I'll be checking this CF650 bike as a fun bike but it needs some TLC. Glad to found this community and hope to get some good knowledge first before I pull the trigger.

    Hi welcome to MCM
What year CF650 did you get?
The 2011-2014 model CFs (250-650cc) have a known issue with the Ducati ECU/ECM dying. The later model CF's ~2015+ were given a Bosch ECU/ECM which have proven much more reliable.
The Bosch isn't backwards compatible with the Ducati though.
You might find some useful info in the Street section of MCM.

Thank you for the welcome and resource, sir! It's a 2015 and hope the parts are intact and working. Will share some photos soon.

Remove the 650 seat and the ECU module is easily accessible. The large ECU module has the thick wiring-lume and plug connected. Check the wording/name on the ECU module either Ducati or Bosch. Hopefully its the latter. There's potentially an after market replacement ECU for the less than reliable Ducati ECU available via an Aliexpress seller which claims to rectify the known issues with the Ducati OEM ECU https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005001409404596.html
