We went to my buddy's home after a ride when we passed the scene of an accident, which must have been occurred quite a while ago, since police were at the scene already. A truck carrying paper board fell over, obviously hit by the truck (over)loaded with gravel.


A fallen over truck is actually nothing special in China


We passed the same spot approximately 20 minutes later, when still no fire rescue was present - do they have fire engines at all


Both trucks now on fire

Police didn't stop anyone from passing the scene, nor did they block the roads leading to it.
We passed near there another 20 minutes later and the thick black smoke was still visible.

Great responding by authorities

P.S. We do hope nobody was hurt in the accident and subsequent fire.

Rofl that was hilarious xD Maybe the police did not see a reason to interfere because none of those men involved did not pay them xD Or maybe the men fightning were "boss" class persons and it would had been bad for the career to interfere xD Or worse, bad for the family xD And no, I don't have anything against Chinese. And yes, I am sure Chinese would laugh at stuff in Finland, which is fine.

Could have been a case of "Simetic Electrical Storm" in which all parties involved received benifit.....
Looks like typical bread-b0x cop B.S. in my book....

And that corner looks like a 'billion-er-two' other Chinese roads i've seen thar mate!

I very much admire the philosophy of the Chinese cops in fact, here the cops wear leather and sunglasses trying to look baaaad. They would have pulled a gun or tasered them, kicked and handcuffed both parties, impounded and sold the vehicle and handed out a jail term just for wiggling your finger at a cop, that counts as assault.

I remember in Bali many years ago I lost my temper with a 'bemo' driver that tried to rip me off ($20 for a $2 ride). I picked up the back of his revving vehicle, they are just light three-wheeler motyorbikes, and stopped it going anywhere ... everyone just melted away and left me sputtering and screaming at myself with the tiger by the tail ... taught me a lesson in oriental philosophy.
