    Phil,

Welcome and thanks for stopping in! I'm sure your time in China was educational. There are lots of good riders from China here but unfortunately it's been a little hard for them to sign in recently.

    You thinking of going back?

Hey, six weeks of is a serious luxury here in the land of the overworked.

Keep in touch with your ride plans! I'm thinking it's best to wait a little bit before heading too far west in China at the moment. Next year may be better though... we hope.

Carl,,Whats the reason, that the china guys cannot sign on?Six weeks is not long, in my last job you where aloud to take six months leave at basic pay once every five years. As a bonus... But being married at the time I took the cash...All those good jobs are now gone,my old mates are doing the samme work for a lot less money and no benfitts................In a couple of weeks we are taking a weeks break down in Cornwall,I hope to put it in the ride reports,if I can transfer the pictures ok,( I never can do that) ok all the best phil

    Phil,

    Likely technical or political difficulties.

WHoa! Six months paid holiday! With the option to cash out!!!
    I'm envisioning .

In the US, you're lucky to get even 2 or 3 weeks paid holiday. Lots of workers, like temporary workers, have zero paid holiday even though they may be "temping" for years. It's a policy I think should change but I doubt it will any time soon.

There are two ways to put images on this forum and any other like it.

    1) Attach images to the post using the "" button and...

    2) Hosting the image at your own gallery or web-site and "linking" the image to forum post with the "" button.

Would like to see your trip reports!

    Paz,
