KOVE 450 Rally

Has anyone ridden the KOVE 450 Rally from Chongqing? Suppose to be as good as the KTM 500 Rally at 1/3 the price. Their 3 entries in the Dakar all finished on first entry.

Hallo flyingtiger,
Yes, I made a short test trip on the KOVE 450 Rally, Standard high.
It was only a short impression but it keeps in my mind.
It has a complete different charcter than a KTM EXC, it start very soft at low revs without Powerhouse feature, it feels nearly to have less volume than 450. The engine likes to go with high revs if you want power.
I could not test the real performance because of the enviroments..But for me it was too loud for a light adventure bike. It was no yes EURO5 homologated, so we expect still some changes for Europe.

Thx for the reply. The Chinese models are far cheaper and someday I may buy one in China but for the time being I have employment in Canada and no money coming in in China so that is a future project. At this time have built a custom Triumph scrambler
