09-10-2009, 01:15 PMAnyone have them? I still can't find any info on that engine.
It's a 250 AIR COOLED Overhead Cam engine. It's actually a 233cc or something like that.
If anyone has a manual for that engine, it would be very appreciated.
Thanks.

09-11-2009, 08:28 PMCheck the engine type. It'll be stamped somewhere on it, probably at the base of the cylinder.
If its a type ZS172FMM its also called a GS250 or sometimes 250-GS.
I have a CD from the Spanish importers of Zongshen which contains all the documentation an importer should have: Users manuals, service manuals, spec sheets, even type approval documents...guess what, the only service manual they haven't got is for that bike.
Unless someone else chimes in with the answer use something like 0.08 to 0.13 mm (0.003" to 0.005") for both inlet and exhaust for now. These are fairly typical settings for small OHC engines.
Perhaps use the smaller clearance in that range for the inlet valve and the larger for the exhaust.Jincheng Monkey JC50Q-7
