hi all does anybody have operating and maintenance instructions books for a chongqing 150 gy , its a few years old now , and i cant find them anywhere ?

ChongQing is the name of a city in China where many of these bikes are made. If you have a picture and official model number of your ride that would be MUCH more helpful!

thanks carl the frame is stamped with the following . LAPJCKLA54LD00203 .I hope this is of some use , it has no other makers name anywhere on it other than regional district " chongqing " ??????

It looks like the standard GY model, like a Lifan, etc. Engine might be an OHV Honda CG125 clone and most maintenance instructions for that will apply.

There are lots of free downloadable manuals for the CG125 in the net. This enthusiast's site, for example, shows most maintenance procedures.

yep thats almost identicle as mine , plastics design ,a little different but spot on otherwise , so its a standard gy150 model , how can i tell if its lifan or another type ?

That company owns 50% share in "Jianshe Yamaha Motor Co, Ltd". JYM made many small Yamaha brand m/c such as YBR125 /250...

That model is called CQ150GY(VIN:LAPJCKLA×××××××××) which can't legally registered in China after 15 Jan 09. (Don't meets GB20073-2006/ GB19482-2004/ GB20075-2006)

thanks humanbeing thats good too know someone else has the same bike ,real difficult to trace original documentation for it , so you say that its mechanically a clone of a yamaha engine not a honda ????? do you think jianshe will supply me some info on service and operation intructions as i like to have the real manufacterers advice.....
