    G'day All,

Just picked up my first road legal China Moto, it's an '07 Kinlon SM200 Motard. Uses the Loncin engine from what I've learned on this forum. Bought 'used' with 7km on the odo[not a typo!] Very light and easy to ride compared to my other bike, an 07 Yamaha TDM900. Seem to have a reputation for reliability if looked after, I don't thrash machines any more-too close to 50 for that!
Look forward to gleaning as much info as I can, and helping out as well! First thing it needs is a muffler that breathes

    Cheers William from Sydney

    G'day!

Nice to hear you're happy with your C-Moto. These things are set lean from the factory so a new pipe may not be the best thing right off the bat. There a thread on here that mentions a shop in Sydney that can hook people up with new carbs that should jack up the power a bit...could be nice when mixed with an easier breathing pipe.

Nice trailer set-up you got there. What kind of riding do you do?

Yeah, the trailer does the job. Just a home made special I picked up on Ebay

I thought the Kinlon was running lean, I found the shop you mentioned about the carb etc. It's only ten minutes from my place So I'll be off to have a chat with as soon as I save some $, purchase left me skint

I was going to buy a China Motor offroad only bike so I can follow my 14 yo son around at the local bike park, but this one came up at a good price so I couldn't say no. I'll only use it to commute sometimes and local rides. I've got the 900 for the distance stuff when I get my crook spine fixed so I can tolerate more than 30 minutes in the saddleand no, it wasn't a bike accidentit was at work!
    Cheers Will.
