    I think thre won't be much stress cuz the only thing that holds there is the carb and the air filter which is light...

    But JB weld is something to consider....

    You got JB Weld! That's great! JB Weld would be a great place to start. Be sure to press the epoxy as deep into the crack as possible. You may even want to seal it with some silicone. If the mounting surface is uneven, try some gasket in a tube.

    The other thing to worry about besides pressure would be heat but since this joins the carb to the airbox, heat should not be a problem.

    Give it a try and let us know how it goes!

    Heat will not be a problem as I've used JB Weld as a filler on parts that I have powdercoated. I cured them at 350 degrees and it didn't crack or come loose.
