    My guess would be no.

    1) You never see anyone riding one.
    2) 4 wheels means it's a car........in the minds of the authorities regarding licensing and it doesn't fit what ever criteria they use to measure what a car is.

    You're right, I never see them on the road. More's the pity.

    They're not street legal in lots of places but there is a big demand for them on farms etc. I also think they're great fun to ride.

    What about the open buggies. I'm not sure what they're called but they've got no roof or sides, just roll bars and are powered by a bike engine. In Cali (and in US movies) I've seen large trikes on the road, anything like that here?

    The closest thing would probably be the JH600B with the side car.
