    Hi all,
I just picked up an 06 shineray 200xyi

unfortunately it has a dead battery,
good thing is that it's the only thing wrong with the bike.
does anyone have a good part number for this bike?
the battery that came with it must be original, since it has no markings on it other than 12v7ah

    Thanks, Al

Buy a japanese battery. I put another new chinese battery in my bike and it lasted one ride!

    It's lucky I have a kick start...

picked up a cheap battery at Wallmart that is smaller than the stock one, but with some foam fits just fine. the bike is running great!!

If you put the bike up for the winter, spend 20 or so bucks and get a battery tender. It will keep your battery from discharging while sitting and help ensure you get a good turn-over the next time you fire it up.
