That's a cool little bike.I wouldn't mind sporting one of those.to bad they aren't imported into the US.People here just don't realize how fun the small bikes are.People here gotta have the fastest biggest loudest bikes they can possible afford before the loan company repos the bike.

I definitely agree with you about how many people ride bikes that are wayyy to big for the way the use them. You don't need a liter bike to commute to work in a crowded city. My riding a 125 however, is not my first choice. China just doesn't have many options unless you are in a big city like Beijing or Shanghai, or willing to wait/spend the money to have one shipped. If I had the option I would have gone with something with a little more guts, a 400 or so.

But, having ended up with this bike, I am pretty happy with it so far. It can cruise at 70km/hr(I wouldn't want to go any faster on Chinese roads anyway) 2up with no problems. It runs smooth and feels pretty solid. For the situation I am in, I think it was the best choice.

The Lifan is no slouch. Surely you've read the thread by Lulu and Roadrunner about their epic ride around China on Lifans last year.

    cheers

That was one of the reasons I picked Lifan. I figured if it cold hold up to their journey, it could hold up to anything I will throw at it.

Dude, what a fricking awesome starter bike! Welcome to MCM. You get this beast out into the heaths and paddocks or whatever you call the countryside there in blighty?

Black is gorgeous, especially with the copper forks as a highlight. Sweet ride.

More pix please, especially of you out abusing her in the wild!

    cheers
