11-21-2009, 01:18 AMThe problem I´m having is that after I turn the throttle and leave it the engine keeps with the revs hi,I´ve to give a short turn so that the revs go down.
The iddle speed is a bit low
What do you think? a dirty carb or bad throtle cable?
Could it be the valves?

11-21-2009, 04:36 AMSome One with more experience could answer better... but my 2cents are:
Did you see if the spring at the carb are ok?
maybe is just that.
Lub your trotle cable, too. Can't do any harm, even if that is not the problem.
Also could be some "goo" (dirty rubery stuff that really creep) at the right handlebar. (only if this are an old bike) that prevent the carb spring to return the cable to the low rev position.
