Many small business owners or farmers are using trikes to move their products. They are far cheaper than a car and can get more load than a bike.

Some of them have the final drive as a bike chain others like this one have reverse gear (top shift lever on the 4th pic) , prop shaft and differential.
With a bigger engine could be a good base to do some leisure trike in North America.Ride report - Few weeks in South West China

Usage of turn signal and brake lights is common here. Chinese are pretty good to build nice light shows. Some have their bikes, cars or buildings look like xmas trees.
