    Hi Hanuman,

When are you on the road? Depend of the period, I will have perhaps a room available for you if you stop by Zhuhai.

That sounds great! I will leave Qin Zhou on the 1st of July and will make my way from there. Can you tell me a bit about that area? Is it busy, and is there any cities I should avoid due to laws or congestion?

The area is called the Pearl River Delta (PRD), its is a big busy crowded triangle that covers Macau/Zhuhai from the south west GuangZhou in the North and Shenzhen/Honk Kong in the South east. Highways are forbidden for bikes.

My hometown is Zhuhai a mid size city of 2 million inhabitants. This is a nice and clean city but with strong motorcycle restriction. For you coming from the west, you'll have to avoid the city center, suburbs tolerate bikes. Zhuhai is the best place to start a visit to Macau since this is the border town. Macau deserves at least 1 or 2 days between the old Portuguese town and the casinos.

No visa needed for Macau but you'll need to have a valid visa to go back in China. From Macau you can take a ferry to Hong Kong (1h15, 180RMB one way), no visa needed between these 2 places. If you plan to go to HK, you can also travel to Shenzhen and cross the border there.

Regarding my proposal to stay at home, I will be in vacation in July but I don't know yet the date of my departure for the north. If I'm not in town when you'll arrive, I'll find you a place to stop by. On time, keep me update by PM of your travel schedule.

Very cool, thanks! I intend to be near your city in the first week, when I know more I will PM you. This will be my first major trip, so I am looking over the map and trying to gauge time/distance and get a basic plan in mind, thanks for all your advice and help.
