Wow! Only 40USD!!!
I wonder how difficult it would be to buy a 200cc head and stick it on?

#5 Buying from Taobao01-23-2010, 03:42 PM
There's some great stuff to be had off Taobao at surprisingly low cost. Unlike the US, P&P costs are not prohibitive either.
Trouble is there is no English version. I'm told that for folk outside China, access to Taobao.com is taboo, especially if you don't have a credit card issued by a Chinese bank (but how about HSBC, that's Chinese 'aint it?)
But fear not, you could still get goods from Taobao and this website will help you to find out how: http://taobaofieldguide.com/taobao-in-english
I favour the 'agent' route: http://buyfromtaobao.com/ or http://www.taobaotrends.com/
Any of you China based guys know of these agents? Are they what they say they are or is there a good one you can recommend?'09 Huoniao (Firebird) HN125-8 motorcycle [eBay bike-in-a-box]

Buyer beware on Taobao. Most of the sellers are idiots with little or no clue about the goods they sell. If you see a picture and are absolutely sure the item is correct, go for it, but if you're shipping international, be very careful. I've never done a thorough study, but I would estimate ninety percent of the motorcycle "shops" on Taobao are simply employees of the factories slipping stuff out the back door. Many of the parts are samples or QC rejects which can be difficult to dispute after you have paid. I think this is the real reason credit card companies are not interested in getting involved... just too much risk.
That said, I do use it from time to time and occasionally have positive results. Being in China, the shipping is cheap and you can recharge your account at any post office, very convenient.
Cheers!
