Karl, is there an attachment point on your case to install the cooler or will you have to drill and tap? I see one of the hoses attaches at the new filter cover.

    We've talked about it here;
    http://www.mychinamoto.com/forums/sh...ght=oil+cooler

Others have tried to get the Suzuki one from the "farm" DR200 over at Adventure Riders without much luck.

Shipping cost from "TB Now" is quite expensive (The REAL rate : shipping agents by every means : Hongkong Post/ Singapore Post/ Royal Mail )

    Hi David

I read the Dr200 thead over at ADVRider ( i posted the pictures of the Japanese spec DF200's) and was going to post a link as soon as i got the oil cooler and knew it would fit

The kit contains a new oil filter housing to which a cooler pipe fits and the second one mounts on the "Main Oil Gallery Plug" as Suzuki call it.....

You can see the "Main Oil Gallery Plug" as item 9 on this DR200 parts fiche

I will post more pictures and report on quality as soon as i receive it both on here and ADV Rider

Yes i guessed the Shipping costs were a bit steep

I have just had a big bore kit (cylinder/piston/gaskets) sent DHL 2-3days from China and that was only £24 or $37.50

I'm looking at buying a quantity of parts from China but will have to sort the Shipping rates out or find someone local to deal direct with?

Karl, thanks for the reply. The location for the hose (according to the manual) is where the oil pressure is checked so it looks like it was well thought out. I know the stock oil cooler has different hose mounting points but as long as it works it's all good. Do you have ideas where you are going to mount it and if it will have any guarding?

The factory oil cooler does use the Main Oil Gallery feed, so is at least 50% like stock

as for mounting it isn't going on a DR so i'm not quite sure yet and not using the bike off road i shouldn't need any guard as such (famous last words?)

I will measure the oil lines when it arrives so you can get an idea on where it is possible to mount it

Well the Oil cooler turned up on Tuesday all well and re-packaged in a TaobaoNow.com box unlike some of the usual Chinese parcels i have received

All parts are there and look decent quality.....

As soon as the weather clears (snow) i will get in the garage and fit the oil cooler and let you know how it goes?

Karl, did they short you a bango bolt or is it hidden in the picture? You should have two, one for your new cap and one for the lower mount.

Yes they are just above the oil cooler, they are bolted together with an adaptor just to save losing the sealing washers and the new oil filter spring etc
