Galaxy was discussed before on here, and it seems like they are/might be the manufacturer for Puzey's XTR 250 both liquid-cooled and non-liquid-cooled lineup (for South Africa and Australia, and Pitster Pro's XTR 250 lineup (same bike as Puzey-apparently Pitster has the US and Canadian distribution rights for the XTR 250), and CCM's X-tr250 in the UK. (Someone on another forum argued that Galaxy was not the manufacturer for the Puzey/Pitster/CCM product, although with Galaxy's high placing in the Takalkmen (sp?)Rally last year this wouldn't have been such a bad thing, but the poster was insistant that Galaxy was not the manf.) Anyway, you should pester the Canadian Pitster distributor to bring the XTR 250 to Canada, unless they are already available there. Here is a business to business site for Galaxy as their limited consumer site doesn't seem to be online anymore

Oh, and the XTR 250 liquid-cooled Puzey/Pitster Pro/CCM bike uses the 249cc liquid-cooled Loncin unit with 25hp, while the air-cooled Puzey versions use the Galaxy (not sure if they are the manufacturer or not) 230cc engines and 16 or 17 hp.

I just got a mail from Gary at pitster that he'll let me have the XTR250 sumo for 2800, including shipping. I'm still leaning towards the XF myself, because you guys have posted so much info on it.

I would go for the XTR 250, personally. The Qlink will cost more than this, although it is a good bike. You couldn't go wrong either way, IMO, but I am intrigued by the XTR because of the 250cc and liquid cooling (higher hp, too). Check with your state's motor vehicle division as far as street registration, however, which might make the Qlink the better choice for you.

I think I've found the manufacturer for the pitster/puzey.

    http://chinaxingyu.ecvv.com/products/1329290.html

    http://chinaxingyu.ecvv.com/products/1329286.html

They have the 250 water cooled loncin engine in them and the other xingyu models are in the puzey product listing (gy-400 explorer)

It looks like they make allot of stuff that gets rebranded, is it possible that make the galaxy brand too.
