I finally got a hold of the dealer that sold the bike and they told me it was a 2005 Zongshen Sierra 200. I tried to do some more research on this model and all I came up with was dual-sports... not what I have. Back at square one.

I remember that bike, its not a sierra 200, but was sold under the tag zongshen hummer IIRC.

Thank you much chromedioxide. I have been tryin to figure that out for about 2 years now. I wanted to figure out what it was (and how to fix it) before I took it out through the desert. Thank you again
