If no one objects, I'll ask Carl if it's possible to move these last few posts (starting with my helmet question) to a new thread: Helmets in China

Here's a few links to make the obvious more obvious and the confusion, less confused... on motorcycle protective clothing & gear.

Here's an interesting take on the motorcycle glove, reduced to pure functionality:

I think it actually looks very nice. Modern gloves are starting to go too far, does anyone really need tiny carbon fiber shells covering each articulation of each finger?

    Ugly as hell...

I had a go with armor protected type fabric trousers and jacket you wear on your work. Full face helmet too! Read some magazines bike on the shelves of your local newspapers for a detailed presentation of the bike in the United Kingdom market clothing.

    I'm thinking to buy those:
    http://item.taobao.com/item.htm?id=8...B8264036425%7D

They have good reviews, but the price here is much lower. The seller says its because they re made for and in China. Thats what he says about quality: 原单尾货只是出到国外后多出来的货,有些会有点小瑕疵,有些肉眼看不出的,我不知道你原来买的是什么货,因 为中国有很多仿货的
Do you think they re worth buying?
    cheers
