Is it possible to only take the top part off, or does the complete box need to come out? Any tips on how to do this are very welcome?
    Hi Barry,
you can take off the upper part of the air-box only to change the filter. It requires to remove the battery first, then you will have enough space. You can take off the complete air-box also that way, however it is a bit tricky to strip it back on the fuel injection unit when you put it back on. You'll first have to take off the side-panels of course.

    Cheers,
    AW.

Good to know I need to take the side panels off, since I am about to install the racks. Received my Tourfella boxes yesterday, but the package with the racks didn't arrive yet for some reason! Thank you for the tips!

I received and installed the racks today, more simple version. Here some pictures of how it's fixed on the bike, since I don't think I saw this version of the rack come by yet on MCM. Missing the bolts and nuts for the rear bar so that still needs to be installed, which is the same as on other versions anyway.

Here a picture of the bike fully displayed.

I replaced the air filter, but !@#$%^&*&%. Taking off the bottom part and taking out the air filter isn't too difficult. Putting it back together however, is hell!

    Hi all,

I just managed to put my hands in a Stebel Nautilus Compact myself as I'm in Italy now (actually 2 as I plan to install one on my car as well).

I found out they did also the same chromed, which might be interesting for HD owners.

    Can't wait to try it!

You guys might give it a shot... not much money waisted if this most likely faked one doesn't do the job. Otherwise import...

    Cheers,
    AW.

Just received this and I'm not sure how to connect it. It came in a box without any instructions. The old horn had only two connection points, the stebel airhorn lookalike has 4.

Also not sure how to mount it securely. Any advice?

You may want to have a look at these:

    http://www.dallasmotorcycles.com/sto...stallation.pdf

It's most probably the same, basicaly the button will activate the relay contact to the horn.

Could you tell me the size of the chinese copy?

Thanks marco. Wiring diagram in first link is clear.

What do you mean size? I'll post a couple of photos soon.

Is this the same stebel clone that Barry installed on his JH600? How's it sound?
