I am looking forward to the change in terms of Chinese competition entering the US. The Chinese are building a trend of from a mess of low cc built bike suggesting the message that a small engine bike is all right, not something you have to give up for a larger one if you want to stay cool. This philosophy is in line with the economies world wide as more and more will buy this bikes for serious commuting and everyday use though this is not fully clear yet. The Chinese retail strategy is very transparent; make it cheap, sell it cheap, maintain it cheap combined with decent quality (if not now, then as they develop), decent support in parts and service, and decent variety to chose from. I believe this is the beginning of a new success story with a large market share even entering the younger generations here in the US. Cost will start to matter more than HP on larger scalse, while the large cc bikes will find a less customers to go home with.
