03-03-2010, 10:54 AMHi guys im from the country of australia. I was just looking at a couple of options as a first bike. I was browsing through the trading post when i happened upon a 2008 Kinlon super motard for around 2 g's. Is that a good buy?
What if any is inherently wrong with them? Get good milage out of them? What are they like for parts?
Just a few questionsa s i really dont know the brand, never heard of them before but it looks like a pretty good deal. Genuine 170km's on the clock.
Opinions? Cheers

G'day mate! More than a few members on here from Oz riding the Kinlons. Put "Kinlon" in the search engine and you'll get answers to many of the questions you ask. If you have more specific questions, let us know.
Which part of OZ you in?

03-04-2010, 03:37 PMThe Kinlon may be made by TMEC They may use Lifan engines for the bikes and come with a variety of displacements.

03-04-2010, 03:41 PMThe 200cc is or can be a OHV or a OHC and look to be both Lifan engines.
I would check the individual bike to see if they match up and with what?
TMEC list engines on its web site, and one of the two 200cc engines may be what that bike is equiped with. Both seem to match Lifan engines specifications and are either a OHV or a OHC and around 196cc.
I think they seem to be nice bikes and if they are using Lifan engines parts would not be hard to come by.
Actually it very confusing because Kinlon claims to be Loncin?
They are saying the engine is a OHV Loncin ?

03-04-2010, 03:59 PMYes it seems to be a Loncin bike
LONCIN / JL 200 GY
Odd how it looks just like the TMEC?
They seem to be OEM for each other? I do not understand how that works? Seriously who makes the bike is it Loncin or TMEC or both?
