    China Knight,

Thanks for checmking out my story. My crazy is on the inside! Sometimes it comes out though.

Xinjiang is a very beautiful province and the roads are very good! There is still so much more to see. I have not yet seen the Altan Mountains in the north of XinJiang, but have seen pictures of it and looks very beautiful. China is such a big country, it can take a whole life to explore.

Welcome to the board and I hope you meet some good people here!

    Wow..
i just read the story... watched the trailer... I'm just overwhelmed..
but now I've got a plan, for what to do when I turn 18 (July 2009):
I'll try to get to china... and do a big trip like yours... but only on good roads!

If you'd like to explore not only china and america, I'd really like to get to know you and maybe make a Europe trip, its not the exiting as the pictures I've seen here but.. there's also a lot of diffenrent kinds of people...

    B,

That would be an amazing trip. Give yourself a lot of mental preparation and do not, I repeat DO NOT, think for one second you will be familiar with riding in China.

If you do the trip, it will be an adventure of your life. Just be careful and extra careful and maybe see if a friend can go with you.

I've always wanted to ride in Europe and Eastern Europe. If I'm near you, I'll look you up!

    Be Careful!

Like most things in life, nothing happens unless we make time for it!

    Glad it arrived okay.

OK, got to watch it. Let me set up the scenario for you; my in-laws are in town to take our children back to California for a few weeks ( ). For those of you who have lived in L.A., and the surrounding areas, for a while, you can get star jaded. For instance, my in-laws are huge fans of 60's and 70's rock, and my wife is, too. Of course, one of the biggest bands from that era was the Eagles. My sister is the junior publicist for them, so, let's just say that we get to go to alot of Eagles and Don Henley shows, sometimes backstage--in other words, we are all kinda jaded now.

Well, we all sat down and watched this DVD (kids included), and let's just say that I felt like we were from some obscure, no-connection part of the world. They were very amazed by Carl, and I felt all cool and important explaining the ins and outs of the movie to them. The place where the Aerostich ad was taken was a bonus for us all.

Great movie, editing, music, etc. Your next one (yes, you are doing another one) should have 2 people, trading off the camera, and since I am a geography sucker, lots of video of all the places you ride through, and the anthropologist side of me would like to see more interactive video of the people you come across. But, very entertaining, to say the least.

Good threade, will have to pick up a copy soon for myself too, now I just got to have one ! Especailly after Culcunes' ( aka Penny Marshall the Director ) review . I am quite positive Crazy Carl , Culcune will be asking you to let him ride on your handlebars and film the next one for you
Maybe the next film could be done in that very cool Side-car motorcycle your buddies got over there and you could invite Don Henley or the whole band of Eagles to ride along too with you both ...............

    Cheers, Snortin Norton
