Hey guys, I'm mucho late on this one but thought I'd stick it up there for reference anyway. These images were snapped at the 2010 Cycle World Expo in Washington DC earlier this year.

No interesting C-Motos to report at the Expo but I did managed to take some pictures of common engines that may be found in our Chinese bikes for reference/comparison.

One last note for the motor-heads, be sure to check out the Yamaha YZ450F engine internal cut-away/cross-section display at the end of the post. Reverse intake design engine is worth checking out!

    - Yamaha YZ450F - And just for fun... the Yamaha YZ-450F Engine Cutaway. Intake valves and in the front, so the exhaust comes out the back of the engine. Great design that makes a lot of sense, lets hope we see more of it!

I think the exhaust valves and pipes were traditionally placed in front of the engine and in the airstream for cooling purposes. With water cooled technology it is less important...Yamaha made a TZR 250 two stroke race replica with rear mounted exhausts exiting under the seat
    ....looked cool
