I saw this on the Shineray site and found it interesting. It's a variation on the X2 sumo called an XY250GY-4. It doesn't have the water cooled motor, though. Even though (I'm guessing) that it's steet legal, those knobbies are pretty large. I like it though and would interested if it was available in the U.S.

So, is it called a Ranger or Balance?

    Maybe it's the Balance Ranger?

Either way, looks more like a res-kinned GY7 than an X2. Reminds me of a newer 250 version of the ZongShen 200GY except with both 17" front and back. Nice looking bike though!

This looks like a true "parts bin" bike. The forks are the same as the Qingqi sumo and duel sport right down to the covers and darker yellow fork tubes (others tend to be lighter in color). The front disk and mirrors look like the ones used on the same two bikes. The rear rack is shared by other Shineray bikes. I've never seen that motor in a Shineray, though. It looks similar to the 200cc in the Kinlon (the ribbed lower front is unique). Headlight? Yamaha WR450F but also from the Shineray X2 sumo (I have one on order for my XF200). I can't tell very well from the picture as the website logo is coving it but the swingarm and rear brake assembly look like the one used on the new Qingqi 250s. I can't place either the seat or the plastics. The plastics look sturdy, though, and the seat looks comfy.
