CIMAMotor has been held yearly since 2002, and has become one of the most powerful events for global motorcycle industry after 8-year continuous development.
The output and sales of Chinese motorcycles has been registered No, 1 continuously for over 15 years in the world. In 2008 the output of Chinese motorcycles reached 27.5 million, accounting for 50% of the world output, 10.29 million of motorcycles were exported to 195 countries and regions. It is reported that both output and sales of Chinese motorcycles in 2009 increased about 13% and will reach 30 million motorcycles in production in 2010. Motorcycle in China as the means for transportation is rapidly developing into a recreational tool.

    Dear msidecar,

Welcome to MCM, and good luck with your sidecar enterprise.

But surely you can't believe the nonsense you've written in this post about China's glorious role in global motorcycling. Especially laughable is your final line about motorcycles "rapidly" becoming a recreational tool. Cities all over China are banning motorcycles; can you point to a single city that has reversed its ban? Can you point to a single domestic motorcycle company that is offering quality recreational motorcycles and a network of quality service/support in China? Can you point to a single manufacturer that knows anything about marketing or gives a flast flying fluck about their customers, especially customers here in China?

And have you noticed that most major Chinabike brands are actually losing sales and market share internationally?

So what's the reason for your optimism? Have you done your homework, or is this just wishful thinking?

    thanks!
