11-24-2011, 09:36 AMChecked 70kg front + 70kg rear ~ 140kg wet (incl. Fuel, Oil, Cooling Liquid)
The spec says 128kg for the motard version. That may be dry or its not correct.
I guess there is lots of potential to strip down weight if you really want it (Wheels are very heavy, electric starter - replace with kickstart, rack, exhaust,...)
The enduro should be a bit lighter (no lights, indicators, mirrors, sidestand...). Maybe 130-135kg wet, spec was something like 115kg, must be dry again.

11-24-2011, 12:59 PMThank you Andre. As I supposed, it can be an ok bike in motard version, but a pig in enduro riding. At least for the kind of enduro we like to ride.

It's a PZ30 carb, and you will find it on many bikes in China. I have one on my Galaxy TGR250.
I believe it does have some kind of accelerator pump on it.
Cheers!

In Sweden we almost only use the bike as an enduro. And our terrain is really technical. It works really fine for that purpouse. Much because its nice engine and nice suspension. The dry weight of 115kg is not to heavy (even if a lighter bike would have been nice).
Before I drove a Yamaha YZ125 as an enduro bike in the same terrain. That bike was really light but the power band made the bike a handfull to drive in our terrain. I am much faster and more relaxed when I drive the XY250 in the same terrain.Yamaha R6 2008 trackbike, Shineray (Defenda) XY250GY endurobike.

04-10-2014, 06:22 PMBringing it back from the dead!
Did anyone ever pinpoint the frame model it is derived from? I have a 2012 and need to redo the rear suspension to fit 5'6" 125lbs.
