From my memory, and I did my test in Shandong, is that there are around 1,000 questions and 1,200 questions for the car test. The questions will be randomly selected. Weifang might be different, but I doubt it.

    Hi Barry,

    Thanks for the spice :)

When did you do your test?
The 50 questions, I take it they were in English, and no translator was required?

    Hi ZMC888,
I think that Weifang will be almost exactly the same as Zibo.
Did you do the 100 questions easy enough?

    Gra.

Yeah, there is a short version 50 Q exam if you are only applying for a motorcycle license, and you are taking the school, classes and road test (i.e., you do not have an overseas motorcycle license).

If you are applying to convert an overseas license (i.e., C1 for car, D/E for motorcycles), then it is a 100 question exam, but no requirement to go to driving school, attend classes, and take a road test.

Yeah, I got 94%. Pete got 80 something and went back and passed 2nd time. You get the 2nd chance for free anyhow.

-If you transfer car and bike entitlements to China you only do the car multi-choice questions.
-Remind them that car and motorcycle in the west also means 3 wheeler too.
-If the test is in English the score may not come through to the control room office. If it doesn't and they ask what you got tell them you passed (even if you didn't!)
-Sometimes the computer screens are too small for the English text, complain if you can't see a whole question.

    .
But don't they know if I would have passed or failed?

He he , sounds just up my street.
Is some one not looking over your shoulder when you do the test, to see if your doing it alone, or if you have any one helping you?
Can you take some one in with you to help you?
    Just asking,,,,,,,,,,

In our place there were 30-50 or so people doing the test at the same time. There are probably one or two cops patrolling around the place that looks like a weird internet cafe. Some of the locals were openly cheating. I didn't remember anyone else other than candidates being allowed in there, but I suppose they can make exceptions.

may be the traffic might take a bit more credibility from a man than a girl?

I can generally get through to about question 70 'ish before I make my first mistake.

    Chinese driving test questions

The questions and answers though, do not always follow clear logic, but any way, as long as I try remember the right answer for them, it doesn't really matter if it's the right answer for my mind.

    Dear Graham,

I see you are still working with the dataset on the Shekou Online site. Did you not get the full question set that I sent you by email?

    Cheers

I failed twice on my first day there (you get two tries per day) with scores of 87 and then 89. ZMC888's advice was not entirely accurate though; after failing with 87 I lied and said that I'd scored 93. They congratulated me and sent me up to the documentation office where they checked the computer and told me that I'd only scored 87. I claimed poor eyesight but they had no time for my lies.
The examination guy gave me my second go and after failing that he said I could come back the next day for another two goes. I believe you can try as many times as you like until you pass with a limit of 2 times per day, no extra charge. Some Chinese girl who was there during my 1st test passed after her 7th attempt (I believe) and that wasn't anywhere near the record.

    This confuses me some what,,,,,

Is there 50 questions, and you need get 45 correct ie 90%
or is there 100 questions to answer, and get 90 correct ie 90%

Or is it different in different parts of the country?

    I am in Weifang, Shandong.
