09-15-2011, 07:55 PMHey, gang, I'm back with question. You peeps have been so helpful in the past, I know some one out there knows the answer, cuz the owner's manual is useless.
The other night, my instrument panes lost the illumination on the bottom half of the gauges - this includes the high bean indicator. I do, however, have all my lights - high, low beam, break, turn signal, etc. So, I go to the owner's manual which tells me the fuse is in the battery case/holder. Ok. Found the 15A fuse, changed it and same crap. So, I look to the front panel, just above the floor board and see what should be some kind of fuse box - has a handle that should pull out, but apparently is only there for freaking decoration. I take out the handle's two retention screws and realize I can't get there from here. Anyway, anybody have a suggestion as to what is wrong and where I start looking?
