have you taken the baffle out of the exhaust and have u rejetted the carb? it you take the baffle out it will make it bog down in 1st the carb will have the make written on the side and you need to measure the diamiter of the intake. however if the make is mikuni then you are likly to have a VM22 jets are easy to come by i would advise that you buy a few different sizes and see whice one work best for you (that bit applies for ALL makes of carb)

No parts dealer found as of yet .......................... :(

As for the conformity test. The original dealer who imported the bike took care of all the paperwork except the registration, which in itself was a bit of a pain.
So I is still on the hunt for a reliable parts dealer, who wont dissapear in a puff of smoke.

VIN Plate is sat just off centre below the handlebars on the left of the headstock as you sit on the bike, there is nothing at all other than that on it. There as several 2mm holes on the right on the headstock so it looks like you is ok my friend ...............

If you come across a semi local dealer I would be happy to be informed and if I do I will let you know ..............

Thats interesting about the 200cc engine .................

Might buy the bike off my son when he's done wreaking it and try for a conversion....
Mind you it will need an upgrade on the rear wheel bearing which is on the way out as I type....... :(

    Found a parts dealer ..............................
Although not local, they are very friendly over the phone and have put my request for a speedo cable though to the suppliers
in China and expect it to arrive in around a week. All this without payment up front as well.........
So we are in the waiting game mode.
    Here is the url http://myworld.ebay.co.uk/tabbikeimp...id=p4340.l2559
Will let you know on results.
