Sports on TV in China ?

While Vimeo seems to be up again, a new issue raises with the football world cup at the doorsteps (some call it soccer ) - TV sports channels.

Many pubs, bars and restaurants had prepared for the event in hope of making good business, but now many folks rather stay away from CCTV's expert knowledge as most other sports channels have miraculously disappeared from the screens shortly before the event

Any hints on places in Beijing to watch other channels than CCTV or breaking up live-streams are highly appreciated

Not sure if you have access to DREAM but DREAM satellite from Philippines are offering pay-per-view of the world cup at the moment... on Channel 1.
