Heard from Mr.ChinaV man and he's heading to the Blue Ridge Parkway and then up to the DC area for a couple days. Looks like decent weather along the route.
Mo' as events unfold...

ChinaV,
I'm always happy to share the good roads. I hope you will post a few pics of your cross-country ride for us. Are you planning to sell that bike at the end of your ride, or do you plan to store it out east somewhere?
Cheers,

Home sweet home after:
66 days
12,500 miles, (20,000 Kilometers) of great roads
23 States + Washington DC
315 Gallons (1,192 liters) of petrol
12,317 photos
Almost every day was perfect sunshine, although a little hot, and we only spent a few hours in our rain gear.
Here's a little overview of the entire trip
You can download a big map of the whole route here. Send me a PM if you want the entire trip in KML or GPX format, the file size is pretty huge.
Favorite spot for Lorne: Lassen Volcanic National Park (Northern California)
Favorite spot for Jenny: Youngs Lobster Pound (Belfast Maine)
Not sure how long it will take me to sort twelve thousand photos, but I will try to get some stuff posted soon.
Cheers!

Good to see you both got back home safe and sound after such an epic journey. Looking forward to seeing at least a few dozen selected pics of the journey.

Welcome back (home?) mister V! Looks like you just had the kind of journey that most common mortals could only merely dream of doing before we die.
Congratulations to you both for making across alive, dry, and still in love!

When these two arrived at my place in Virginia they looked pretty fresh so they must have had a good time!
Unfortunately no riding pics but I think Lorne got a few snaps in the Air and Space and before they left. I'll scrounge around the cam and ad in.
